A MESSENGER FROM OUTER SPACE

If a meteor large enough to destroy life on planet Earth were known to be homing in on us, sometime in the future, we might be able to save ourselves if we spent enough money to send the meteor off course.

It could be a great deal of money, so great that planet Earth could not afford it.

What should we do?

Who would lend us the money? Do you think we should give up and die because we could not afford to save ourselves?

It happens all the time that whole populations give up and die of starvation because they cannot afford food.

Should we as the population of the whole planet do the same.

I hope you would say NO, to hell with money, it is so easy to make money, why die of a lack of money.

Perhaps! But how can it be so easy to make a vast, vast sum of money.

Exactly the same way as all money is now made.

Money used to be an entry in a ledger, now the press of a key puts an entry into a computer and electronic money is made. Surely we should find the strength to press a few keys to save the world.

I am using the idea that a meteor out there somewhere, might be heading this way and if it is, we need to wake up, about money or perish.
