    Economics as economics is Today

    26th August, 2005.

Economics now means the art and practice of making economies. How to save money. How to reduce your taxes. How to cut costs. Where to find the best special offers. Where does 'every little helps', count the most.

    'Buy now, and pay later!'

Never a word anywhere, to explain the best way to flourish and prosper. That is never taught at the London School of Economics. Only save, by saving costs. Economise to be rich.

Tons of advice on how to make life easy. 'Are you too busy working to make money'. 'You have just graduated, well done, the world is now your oyster. Forget your debts and take a year off, to see the world'.

'Now you have a degree, you will not need to work for your living. Become a bureaucrat, then it will be safe to retire'. 'Save your strength, leave the rat race to others. This is the age of the robot, robots now build motor cars. Become a robot and have no worries, no responsibilities. Let the state run your life, just relax and enjoy'.

These are all familiar words of today's wisdom, which shows that we now live on the down side of life, as a result of modern economies called economics.

Does it matter? yes it does!!'.

We all, everyone of us, have a deep seated desire to help. Help is the most powerful of all urges in a human being.

Economical economies tell us all, that our help is not needed. Helping interferes with State planning and is destructive. When we come to feel that our desire, our need to be allowed to help, is destructive, we become somewhat delinquent.

"Don't bother me now" said to the child who wants to help, is a killer.

Laws to prevent children working, right up to the command 'take a year off and get lost', are highly potent commands to destroy instead of help. The creative urge in a child is enormously powerful and when trodden underfoot, creates disaster.

The joy of creation is perverted. Yesterday, I had a young man come to see me for advice. His father is a builder and as a small child he developed a passion to become a wood carver. His father told him the world did not want wood carvers and turned him into a carpenter on the buildings. At an early age the boy started taking drugs. The effects of LSD got him labelled as a paranoid schizophrenic. He is now on heavy psychiatric drugs for schizophrenia and he is a zombie, who cannot even drive a nail.

No one starts on drugs without being driven to drugs by the pain inflicted upon them by psych babble.

'Why did you start taking drugs?' 'I wanted to belong and not feel different'.

If Grinling Gibbons had been born into today's world, it is more than likely that economic economies would have turned him into a iatrogenic cripple.

Doing a data analysis of all the depressing material, mentioned in this briefing sheet, I have traced the flaw in Economics right back to its source. I now devote my life, whole time, it is now 4am at the kitchen table, to achieve monetary reform.

Because the basic, basic wrongness with economics is the use of credit instead of money, merely because we do not understand money, we abuse money.

When I tell you that we now use credit instead of money, you are quite likely to say 'So what!. What is wrong with that. Credit cards are here to stay, thank goodness.

"But do you realise, that we now borrow money into existence".

"No, but someone has to bring money into existence and if I create wealth by taking out a mortgage, that must be good".

Now I can see very clearly why monetary reform is painfully difficult to achieve. If anyone sees the sense of what I am trying to do, I need your help. Get in touch
