Letter to: The Daily Telegraph
6th October, 2005
Dear Editor.
Abandoning Democracy to have Planetary control of oil
The peace keeping presence of Bush and Blair in Iraq and Afghanistan
is made impossible by the existence of warlords in both.
We chose to ignore the fact that a war lord is an arms dealer's
dummy, serving the interests of oil.
Before we pretend to value democracy for the people with oil, to
make them less pugnacious, we should examine our own pretence of
democracy and confront the fact that it is impossible to impose
on others, that which we condemn for ourselves.
We live in a financial dictatorship, which uses crude instead of
gold, for its currency.
We tell our Government to create and issue money, by asking private
banks to do it on behalf of the Government, by issuing new money
as credit.
We like to ignore the fact that whosoever creates and issues our
currency has supreme power over us.
We abandon Democracy to have Planetary control of oil, so that
we can hot up the planet and melt its ice without interference from
anyone.
We do all this by refusing to confront the evil of doing so. The
juice that drips out of this mess, its effluent if you like such
terms, is trouble and strife for everyone.
The Telegraph is without doubt the best National Daily on the planet.
But the Telegraph will not publish this letter, nor allow any of
its journalists to mention this matter.
