Letter to: Rt Hon Margaret Hodge MP. The House of Commons. London

    12 July 2006

All is now fair in love, war and business

    Dear Mrs Hodge

“All is now fair in love, war and business”. “There is no place for ethics in Economics”. These are two statements made to me by those opposed to monetary reform. The reform proposed being, that Government should restore unto itself, the sole right to create and issue new money.

Our Government accepts that private banks must be allowed to create and issue new money as credit. Banks now have a monopoly so to do. With additional new money, constantly increasing our currency as credit, we now use credit as our currency.

This makes fair trading impossible and businesses large and small, operate within global commercial warfare. A war in which there is no respect for human life, no Geneva Convention and where the provision of pensions for a small business is incompatible with financial survival.

As Minister for small-business, please tell us whether you favour Monetary Reform.
