Letter to: John Kirk, Torquay
18 August 2006
House Price Time Bomb
Dear Mr Kirk
After writing that magnum opus on the House Price Time Bomb and
having the
Voice of the West Country, taking it up by stating that it is the
defining
problem for our region and for our time, do you not wonder why the
Press
cannot remark upon its cause and therefore cannot propose a remedy.
Why is there such a closely kept secret, as though Editors are
in pain of
death if they breathe a word regarding the cause of the trouble
and its
cure.
Surely you can see, that to build all the new homes needed, new
money might
be needed, money which does not yet exist.
We know, though we are never told, that private bankers have the
sole
monopoly on the creation of new money, and they are allowed to issue
new
money as credit.
Why is this fact kept secret and never mentioned by the Press?
We also know that whosoever creates our currency, has Supreme Power
and is
above the Law and above Parliament. Private financiers such as bankers,
certainly control the Press and the media.
You must know all this, just as well as I do.
But have you thought about the meaning of this secrecy and why
there is this
deathly hush concerning the roof over our heads.
People who work in the Press, appear to cherish the freedom of
the Press and
to imagine that such a freedom of speech, does still exist.
