A train to London beside the sea - The Sea at Dawlish

If Brunel were with us today, to advise us on how best to tackle the problem posed by the Met Office, regarding the sea at Dawlish and the threat to Brunel's railway, he would not go belly-up and allow the weather to tell him what he must do. He would say “When I built the railway, the weather was not a problem. You have created a problem by messing about with the weather. You have created a problem, now uncreate it”.

Yes that is where it is at. So how do we reverse global-warming and keep Brunel's railway safe for our use. Change our life style and develop folk inspired principles. Restore the mores, customs and traditions of our culture. Abandon the rat race. Develop Fair Trading and abhor commercial warfare.

I guarantee that if such a proposition were actually on offer and feasible, it would be our first choice. Like turning life into a game in which everyone can win by getting true to ourselves and our real desires. The senior pleasure to which any human being may aspire, is to successfully help another. When we are all striving to help each other, there will be no danger of global warming.

This is no pipe dream, this can be achieved and if we value a future for ourselves and our children, we have no choice but to do what needs to be done. We need Monetary Reform. We need to restore to Government the sole right to create and issue new money and to tell the Government how to do that correctly.

All our woes at this time are the result of using credit, (which is a polite word for debt) as our currency instead of money.

We now owe many trillions of Pounds, which can never ever be repaid and on which we pay everlasting compound interest. The frantic struggle to make such an insane monetary system financially viable, is the cause of climate change, of global-warming and rising seas and our link with London by rail, awash at Dawlish. It is within our power as individuals, to understand what needs to be done, what can be done and what must be done. Real Power lies dormant with the grassroots. Dormant because we have gone into apathy. Common sense no longer prevails.

We can change that and make our lives much more fun and far, far better for our children
