Fraudulent Water Bills
Because the rising cost of water to the poorest of the poor is
quite unnecessary, it has become a necessity for you to correct
what is wrong, with Government thinking.
It was good to see you on television standing up for the rights
of the underprivileged.
This could be done by telling the electorate via the Press and
the media where Government is wrong and what the electorate must
demand to correct what is wrong.
OFWAT is paid by the Government to obtain a semblance of fair play,
in order to gain acceptance of the wrongness.
I have my own water supply and my own ‘sewage works’.
So I have no personal interest in making my request to you.
South West Water does not have to pay any one, for the water it
pipes to its customers. Nor is the treatment of sewage a costly
business. Water bills are a stealth tax collected by the shareholders
of South West Water at enormous profit.
The Government could if it so wished, mint or print or somehow
create, enough new money to cover the cost of creating and maintaining
the supply of water and the means of sewage disposal, without causing
inflation. That would cut the water bills down to size, if the process
were taken out of private hands.
No economist, who knows correct economics, would deny the truth
of this. It is inexcusable that poor people are kept ignorant of
the manner in which they are defrauded. You could if you so wished,
reveal the truth and save your constituents an enormous amount of
grief.
Otherwise we shall see families driven ever deeper into debt, witness
social disintegration and see more and more teenage gangs shooting
each other.
