    Funding the NHS

The most valuable of all national assets are the willingness, the fitness and the capability of the individual citizens to work for the common good. Willingness is dependent upon morale. Fitness upon the National Health Service and capability upon Education.

All three are interdependent. The greatest national asset of all is to have those three working together in harmony. And that harmony is what creates high morale.

The purpose of economics is to produce, distribute and manage the ethical disposal of goods and services required by the human race for its survival. We need to ensure that our economy is fit for that purpose.

We can see at once that distribution does not occur well enough and that there is no place for ethics in modern economics. All is now fair in love, war and business.

Distribution is wholly dependent upon a means of exchange in which everyone can trust.

Ethics is optimum rationality in pursuit of survival for the whole human race.

We use debt as money as our means of exchange so that distribution does not occur.

Our monetary system is an insanity and our ethics is the antithesis of what it must be, for our survival.

Unless all this becomes our reality and we see it, we cannot expect to survive as the human race.

Let Doctors be true to their calling, take responsibility for correcting what is wrong and fund the NHS correctly.
